Born from 25 years in and out of the surf, House of Griff was created to answer a simple question: why hasn’t anyone designed a daily moisturiser specifically for surf-worn skin?

Between salt, sun and wind, surfing takes more from your skin than almost any other pursuit. Yet the shelves are full of products that don’t understand the way we live — early starts, long days, and the constant pull of the ocean.

After years of searching for something that could hydrate without heaviness, absorb quickly, and restore the skin’s natural balance, I decided to create it myself. The result is a daily moisturiser designed to work as hard as you do — lightweight, fast-absorbing, portable, and engineered for recovery after time in the sea.

The idea took shape on a road trip down the West Coast of America — watching surfers rise with the sun, change by the roadside and head straight into their day, I realised we needed more than just skincare. We needed a ritual.
